FSBD is a contract agent of the Publishers we represent and is only authorized to distribute products and information to customers within the state of Florida.
All Public Schools have accounts for internal funds orders. If you are a Private School with a credit-approved account, please supply your account number when ordering. To place an order, please see Ordering Instructions. Please note that FSBD must have a copy of your current Tax Exempt Certificate before an order can be shipped.
If you are Tax Exempt you can create and print an order on this website which can then be mailed to us with your payment and copy of your current Tax Exempt Certificate. Go to Ordering Instructions for details.
You may print or download the Credit Application Form or contact our Credit Department for the form. Please fill out the form completely, sign all pages, and mail to FSBD, PO Box 6578, Jacksonville, FL 32236. We cannot accept faxed copies of the form.
All credit accounts are payable net 30 days from shipping date. All other orders require payment when the order is placed.
Shipping rates vary within the State of Florida based on weight and destination of shipment. FSBD only charges what we are charged by our transportation companies – there is never an added handling fee. We can only provide an estimated shipping charge before the order is processed. The actual shipping charge will be included on your invoice.
Once we have received your order, it is normally processed and shipped the next business day. Delivery is usually 1-2 days after shipment from FSBD. Processing could be delayed if clarifications are required. Please keep in mind during the heavy ordering and shipping months of the summer, your order could take longer to process and ship so we encourage you to order early.
Various free materials are available, upon request, with your purchase of certain quantities of student materials. Free materials will not be shipped automatically as you must request them on your order to receive them. Your request must meet the guidelines set by the publisher. Please see our Catalogs for details.
When receiving a freight truck shipment, it is your responsibility to INSPECT AND COUNT ALL CARTONS with the driver and sign for the exact number of cartons received and note the condition of any damaged cartons. Write any shortages or damages on the freight bill or delivery receipt. Please make sure you get a copy of the signed receipt showing the discrepancy, and provide it to FSBD. The delivering company assumes responsibility for all material shipped but a claim cannot be filed without a signed delivery receipt noting the exceptions. FSBD will file a claim for you if you have a properly documented and signed freight bill. If the shipment is sent via UPS and the carton is damaged, please refuse the carton and have it returned to FSBD. We will replace the materials once we have received the returned damaged carton.

Please check the contents of your order against the packing list as soon as the order is received. DO NOT STAMP or mark material until the order is verified. Stamped material cannot be returned for credit.
The Florida Department of Education operates a comprehensive Adoption Program designed to provide Florida public schools with a wide variety of high quality K-12 instructional materials. Materials that meet the qualifications are adopted by way of a contract with the publisher that controls, among other things, content, manufacturing quality, availability and price. The contracts are typically 5 years in length and end March 31 of the expiration year.

Adopted titles appear in our catalog in all capital letters. In our database they are indicated by the display of the Adoption Expiration year after the title.
These titles are not governed by a contract between the Florida Department of Education and the publisher. Non-adopted titles are available through FSBD as a service to Florida schools with the mutual consent of the publishers. Their content, availability and price are subject to change by the publisher without notice.

Non-adopted titles appear in the catalog in lower case letters and in the database with no Adoption Expiration year after the title.
You must have prior approval from FSBD before returning materials for credit by submitting the Return Authorization Request. Return approval will be granted based on compliance with conditions listed in the instructions. See Return Authorization Request for instructions.
We are open from 8:30AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday. We are located on the Northwest side of Jacksonville, Florida near the intersection of I 10 and I 295. Please refer to our map and detailed directions..
